Giving Options:
- Pledges may be made for a single year or over the four years your student attends Cardinal Newman.
- Payments can be scheduled monthly, quarterly, or annually—whatever works best for your family.
- Credit card gifts are welcome (and may even earn you rewards points).
- Many employers offer corporate matching—an easy way to double or even triple the impact of your gift.

Day of Giving
As part of our Annual Fund program, Cardinal Newman holds an annual Day of Giving on October 9th to commemorate the feast day of our patron St. John Henry Newman. We kindly ask, that where possible, you make this year’s Annual Fund gift on or before this year’s annual Day of Giving.
Empower Every Student.
Tuition covers only 85% of the cost to educate each student. The Annual Fund fills the gap, giving every student access to a Catholic, college-preparatory education. Your gift makes an immediate impact—supporting classrooms, athletics, arts, and opportunities that help every student thrive.
Gift Acceptance & Crediting Policies
Cardinal Newman High School, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, encourages donors to make tax-deductible gifts to the School in support of the School’s mission to educate students in the wholeness of body, mind and soul, consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church, manifested by faith, leadership and service. The following policies govern acceptance of gifts to the School.

My time at Cardinal Newman is something I cherish deeply. When I was a student, I didn’t fully realize how special this place was. As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to understand that my experience here is not something you find everywhere. The relationships I built—and continue to maintain—with classmates, teachers, and coaches are truly uncommon. The care every faculty member showed for me as a whole person, not just as a student or an athlete, was exceptional.

There are three generations of Ursuline graduates in my family, along with three brothers who attended Cardinal Newman. Returning to work at Newman truly felt like coming home. I’ve always known and loved this community—the bonds you make here last a lifetime.

I am a proud Ursuline High School graduate, Class of 1980. Our three sons—Trevor (’11), Alex (’12), and Nick (’15)—all graduated from Cardinal Newman. I wanted to work at Newman because I’ve always felt a deep connection to its mission and community.

I am most grateful that my boys are proud to be graduates of Cardinal Newman High School. Austin, Class of 2015, and Tighe, Class of 2020, both look back on their high school years with gratitude for the teachers they admired and respected—not just for the quality of their education, but for how they were treated and supported. They still feel connected to this community and to the friendships that have lasted well beyond graduation.
