Other Information
Mr. Herrmann began his teaching career in 1979 after graduation from UCLA. He has taught a variety of social science courses since that time including: AP US History, World History, Cultural Geography, Government, Economics, and Law among others. He has coached for many years including being a graduate assistant for Stanford football, eventually becoming the Athletic Director for Ursuline High School prior to its closing. He is an adjunct professor at USF in the Graduate School of Education. He teaches classes to teacher candidates in the following: Teaching for Diversity and Social Justice, Learning and Teaching, Academic Literacy, and Teaching Adolescents. He is a member of the Leadership Team at Cardinal Newman as the Assistant Principal for Instruction and Student Life. He has been married since 1979 to his wife Kathy, and has 5 children: Scott, Mark, Tracy, Kristina, and Amy.
