Principal

As a core member of the President’s Administrative Council, the Principal serves as the primary educational leader of the school. In partnership with the President and Chaplain, the Principal upholds and advances the school’s Mission, fostering a vibrant campus culture rooted in Catholic identity, academic excellence, and holistic student development. The Principal is responsible for the daily academic operations, faculty growth, and the cultivation of a professional learning environment that empowers students to take ownership of their education while ensuring all programs and initiatives remain steadfastly aligned with the school’s foundational values and spiritual purpose.

English Teacher

Plans, implements, and evaluates students' learning in English. Designs and facilitates standards-based lessons to facilitate critical thinking and mastery of essential skills and understandings. Teaching assignments include Academic English 9 and Academic English 10.

High School Counselor Support student success through a comprehensive counseling program addressing personal/social, academic, and college/career development. Incorporate Catholic values, serve as a trusted advisor and role model, and collaborate with faculty, staff, administration, College Counseling, and the Academic Support Center.

Director of the Academic Support Center

Under the direction of the principal, the Director of the Academic Support Center (ASC) provides leadership, vision, and direct student support for Cardinal Newman High School’s Academic Support Center. The ASC serves the entire CN community, with a primary focus on assisting students with learning and/or attention differences who are capable of meeting the academic demands of a rigorous college preparatory program. The Director works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and families to foster student independence, academic skill development, and personal growth within the school’s mission.
