Trying Something New... We're trying something new in October -- changing this Weekly Update to a Monthly Update. Why the change? - We've ramped up our content on Social Media, sharing information on a daily basis
- Calendar information is available inside MySchoolApp (Blackbaud)
- To cut down on unnecessary emails
We'll see how it goes and switch back to weekly if beneficial. Share your thoughts if you have a strong feeling about it one way or the other. Please be sure to join us on Facebook and Instagram for a daily update on all things Newman! |

Join us on Sunday, October 9 As a community, we're coming up on an important milestone this year -- the fifth anniversary of the Tubbs Fire. We've joined with St. Rose Catholic School to invite our communities to Gather with Gratitude this October 9th. Through faith, togetherness, and generosity we have made a significant recovery and wish to acknowledge our blessings and thank all who contributed to our restoration. - Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the ACC
- 10 AM: Mass in the ACC (Father Brown)
- 11 AM: Dedication of St. Angela Merici Statue
- 11:30 AM: BBQ Lunch
- Both schools will be open for tours
The Marian Sisters have given us their statue of St. Angela Merici to commemorate the event. St. Angela will be placed in the median of our shared entry way to greet our visitors. St. Angela is a patron saint of both schools and founder of the Order of Ursulines from 1535. Her charism, SERVIAM, encapsulates the teachings of both schools and the way in which the community responded to our needs. Register here. |
