Jerry Robinson shares message of hope, friendship, and the specialness of Cardinal Newman During assembly today, students welcomed and celebrated Cardinal Newman Class of 1975 alumni, Jerry Robinson, as part of Jerry Robinson Night. Jerry was recently inducted into the California High School Football Hall of Fame. He was one of the inaugural 100 players, the all-time greats from California. Jerry celebrated with students and shared his insights. He said, "Coming to Cardinal Newman changed my life." He recalled the joy on his mother's face when she learned he would be going to Cardinal Newman. Jerry encouraged an "attitude of gratitude" and directed students to go home and "thank somebody" for being able to attend such a special place. We say, "thank you, Jerry!" Join us at tonight's football game to participate in our celebration of Jerry Robinson. Check out this video by Dave Cox. |
