Student Orientations

Freshman and New Student Orientation: Monday, August 10
Participate in welcome activities, take yearbook photos, tour campus, learn about the Cardinal Café lunch program, and experience their first school rally.

  • Who: All Freshman & New Transfer Students
  • Where: CNHS Student Life Center
  • Time: 8:30 am - 1:00 pm – Snacks and lunch will be provided!
  • Attire: Students must follow dress code guidelines and wear a CN polo shirt.  Students will have their school photos taken for the yearbook and Student IDs.

Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Student Orientation: Tuesday, August 11
Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will begin the school year with a class orientation, school photos, and a welcome from school leadership. The program includes important information on school policies, expectations, student life, and the year ahead.

  • Who: All Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Students
  • When:
    • Class of 2029 - 8:30 am - 10:00 am
    • Class of 2028 - 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
    • Class of 2027 - 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
  • Where: Athletic Convocation Center (ACC)
  • Attire: Students must follow dress code guidelines and wear a CN polo shirt.  Students will have their school photos taken for the yearbook and Student IDs.

Freshman Parent Orientation – Monday, August 10

  • 8:00 am – Coffee Reception
  • 8:30–9:30 am – Orientation Presentation (Gym)
  • 9:30–10:00 am – Faculty/Staff Information Tables and Campus Tours

Senior Parent Information Session - Monday, August 10

  • 4:30–5:30 pm – Senior Parent Information Session (SLC Lounge)
  • 5:30–6:00 pm – Information Tables

Junior Parent Information Session – Tuesday, August 11

  • 5:00–6:00 pm – Junior Parent Information Session (SLC Lounge)
  • 6:00–6:30 pm – Information Tables

Sophomore Parent Information Session – Tuesday, August 11

  • 7:00-8:00 pm – Sophomore Parent Information Session (SLC Lounge)
  • 8:00-8:30 pm – Information Tables
