At CNHS, campus life is a dynamic blend of energy, creativity, and rigorous academics. Whether it’s spirited days filled with dance rehearsals, club meetings, and sports practices, or moments of reflection in our new chapel, there’s always something happening.  From planting in the FFA garden and cheering on our teams to tackling academic projects, the atmosphere is contagious. With so many ways to jump in and get involved, it’s easy to catch the Newman spirit - and to make memories that last a lifetime!

Senior Spring Retreat 2025

 

The Senior Spring Retreat, held at the serene Mount Gilead, was a powerful and transformative experience for the Class of 2025. Centered around the theme “Our God is Here,” the retreat invited students to recognize God’s presence not only in the peaceful setting around them, but also in their relationships, their personal stories, and their shared moments of reflection. Through prayer, discussions, and heartfelt testimonies, students were encouraged to reflect on their high school journey, to seek and offer forgiveness, and to let go of past burdens. It was a time of healing, connection, and renewal—a reminder that no matter where they are in life, God walks with them. As they look ahead to the future, the seniors left the retreat with a renewed sense of peace and purpose, ready to begin the next chapter of their journey

"Welcome Back" Rally 2025

We kicked off the 2024-2025 school year with WOW Week - a Week of Welcomes.  Our ASB and other student leaders coordinated a week full of Spirit Days and fun activities, culminating with a Welcome Dance on Friday night with a neon theme!

2025 Arts Alive Spring Showcase & Visual Arts Exhibition

Our 2025 Arts Alive Spring Showcase and Visual Arts Exhibition brought together students from across the arts to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and expression. Theatre Arts students served as engaging emcees, guiding the audience through an inspiring afternoon. Dancers offered a preview of their upcoming show Forever Young, and the Modern Rock Band energized the crowd with hits from their sold-out performance at HopMonk. Visual Arts students displayed a stunning array of work, while our MAKER classes shared interactive designs that blended innovation with imagination. Enjoy a look back at some of the highlights from this vibrant celebration of student talent.

Arts Alive Fall Showcase 2024

Our 2024 Fall Arts Alive showcase was nothing short of epic! The Arts crew transformed the CNHS gym into a true concert venue, pulsing with energy and creativity—the atmosphere was electric. Our talented students took center stage with captivating performances and stunning visual artwork.

FFA 2024

Cardinal Newman FFA has had a packed September! Our juniors toured local farms and mills, while our officers and freshmen attended leadership conferences.

AP Seminar 2024

Our AP Seminar students are hard at work preparing for their presentations. By practicing in front of their peers and receiving valuable feedback, they're gaining confidence and making their presentations even more impactful.
