Tuition Assistance

Tuition Assistance Applications for the 2026-2027 school year open November 1st, 2025
Our goal is to make a Catholic education affordable or accessible to everyone who is eligible for admission. Our assistance program is funded by generous donors, established scholarship endowments, and the School’s operating budget. Tuition assistance is afforded to students with a demonstrated financial need and has no bearing on admission. Awards are based on financial need alone; we do not offer assistance based on merit, academic, athletic or other considerations.
Qualifying new and returning families may submit an online application for tuition assistance to the Blackbaud Financial Aid system via the Blackbaud parent portal. Blackbaud reviews all financial information submitted and sends a Parent Financial Report to the Cardinal Newman Tuition Assistance Committee. Confidentiality is ensured with bank-level encryption standards.
If you are considering applying for tuition assistance, here are some important things to know:
-
Tuition assistance awards are all need-based.
-
Although many families receive the same level of assistance all four years, tuition assistance awards are given for one year and must be renewed each subsequent year.
-
Tuition assistance decisions are made independently from admissions decisions.
-
Enrolled students must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA with no grade lower than D to be eligible for Tuition Assistance.
Important Dates:
Application Opens: Saturday, November 1, 2025
- Early Decision Application Due: Thursday, November 13, 2025
- Regular Decision Application Due: Friday, February 13, 2026
