Why Choose Cardinal Newman?
A Welcoming Catholic Community
The greatest example of faith and service our students see each day comes from the Cardinal Newman community of parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and coaches. We welcome families of all faiths, providing an ideal environment for family involvement, spiritual growth, and personal growth. At Cardinal Newman High School, not only will you will feel known, seen, and mentored, but also be inspired to answer the call to help others.
College Counseling and Guidance
Our college counseling department has the resources to provide each student with a personalized approach to the college application and selection process. From the start, our counselors work with students to identify and develop goals.
As upperclassmen, counselors help students research colleges, complete and submit college applications, and research scholarship opportunities. Your student’s counselor will support you and your student every step of the way.
Developing Leaders
At Cardinal Newman, we know that being a leader is more than just being the strongest voice or standing in the spotlight, it is grounded in integrity, emotional intelligence, critical thinking skills, and the desire to create positive change.
We want every student to know how to lead, and to understand the responsibility of leadership and the value of supporting others. Christian Service Learning, Campus Ministry, Associated Student Body (ASB), and many other programs provide every student with the opportunity to learn and grow their leadership skills.
Honors & Advanced Placement
Cardinal Newman offers more than 20 Advanced Placement, Honors, and Accelerated courses, complemented by a variety of electives and a strong Arts program. Our smaller class sizes, one-on-one attention from teachers, and weekly academic advisories provide a supportive environment where students strengthen their critical thinking and study skills.
